Hi Gals,
Having gone the route of expensive progressive sunglasses, I was certainly
pleased to find your website yesterday. As a professional pilot for a major
carrier, I am willing to bet they will fit the bill. The glasses I have now
are prescription progressives, but the lens color is far to light, which
doesn¹t work when I am flying into a sunset :-) Aside from the fact they
cost me hundreds of bucks. The only open question I have (taking a chance
and ordered them already) is if they are polarized or not. As you may know
already, polarized lenses don¹t work well in commercial airliners, due to
how the flightdeck windows are constructed. I found it virtually impossible
to find sunglass readers non-polarized, until I located solmatesreaders.
You¹ve probably already figured out that you have a large market amongst
commerical pilots. We all age, and our vision degrades. I was a solid 20/20
until about age 47.
Lastly, thanks for calling to follow up. My wife took the call, who promptly
called me this morning. Progressive lens are good, have been wearing that
technology for several years now.
Take care, and good luck!
