Phew. I was so inspired by that last post about the To Do List blog and book, that I refused to make a list this morning or even try to remember what was on my last list and I sat (and sat) and finished Ken Follett's latest book, World Without End. (Can someone show me how to underline with this thing?) It is supposed to be a sequel to Pillars of the Earth, which was another terrific book-to-read-when-you-are-in-work-avoidance. Anyway, WWE was a very satisfying book full of love, treachery, sex, hard work, plagues, villains and heroes. I am going to bring Gwenda back from the dead and get her to work for Cathy and me. She only requires two pennies a day, and I think that is in our budget. And she is one tough, crafty gal. This book would be a great Christmas present, especially if you didn't really want to see or talk to the person to whom you gave it for a couple of days.
Get your hands on the book, get cozy with an afghan and enjoy.
